Commercial photographer Chase Jarvis is currently doing a photoshoot and broadcasting it live. You will get a very rarely behind the scenes look at the creative process. The cameraman is also asking specific questions throughout the session so technical people will also benefit from watching this.
An amazing project from Korean photographer Yeondoo Jung in which he brings some children’s drawings to life using complex setups and his camera.

Finally. It’s done! We finally have a brand new website that works and looks much better than the old one. The major advantage this update brings is that I am no longer tied down to RapidWeaver. Don’t get me wrong, RW is wonderful but Wordpress allows for so much more. (hello enlargement pills spam in the comments)
For those of you who are new to this website, don’t panic.The lack of content is due to the new transition, it’ll get filled back up in no time.
LIFT
Here’s a beautiful short film made in 2001 by UK filmmaker Marc Issacs who documented the residents of a tower block in London. Isaacs sets up at the most important communal space: the elevators (or the lifts as the brits eloquently call them). As the movie progresses, familiar faces progressively open up to the filmmaker and reveal a variety of details about their private lives.
This deserves to be watched. Put it on your to-do list for when you have half an hour to spare. (fullscreen it)
